Other projects in the works for Camp Falling Rock are the picnic table shelters for the various camping and activity sites. In keeping with conservation, we are using wood grown on camp to create heavy post and beam timber frame structures that have an aesthetic look as well as provide shade and shelter for the youth. Although most of the material comes from the land, metal roofing systems still have to be purchased and maintained.
Another project that for which the Rock Foundation was proud to provide major funding was building the new Sequoia Eagle Lodge, erected on the same site as an earlier cabin that had been destroyed.
